Our aim is to provide a interesting hobby that promotes a healthy lifestyle. We feel it is important to provide such a activity to the young people in our local area as we think it is vital for them to be physically active and to engage their interest in sport from an early age.
We feel that by participating in a sport like Baton Twirling, young people learn great social skills, develop their hand/eye coordination, as well as having lots of fun with their friends!!
We are trained by Becky Stanforth
During the 5 years we have been together we have had many successes and have gone from strength to strength, with our two main acheivements include UKFM Peewee Twirler 08/09 and our Trainer being crowed Miss Deputy
We compete in various competitions during the year and we belong to the United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes. We joined the UKFM in 2006, and have made some great friends, love going to competitions & seminars, and have acheived lots! We attend both Regional and National competitions with the UKFM.
